WHY OUTDO LIFE?
Have you ever heard someone say something like, “Most people quit, that’s just life”? Well, that’s not the life we choose. We choose our BEST life, which means dedication, commitment, and tenacity. Often life is full of challenges, obstacles, and reasons to “give in” or “give up.” In those moments we make the conscious decision on how to respond. That’s why our slogan is, “Don't let life get the best of you, get the best out of life!” We are choosing to not be “outdone” by ordinary life but to exceed expectations (personally, societally, and globally) and find our best life.
In the last decade Stephen M. Law noticed a staggering amount of inconsiderate behavior, laziness, and people who were settling for an average life when they were capable of so much more. It was this observation that led Stephen to begin writing Don’t Be Better, Be Best, 7 Essentials on How to Surpass Your Best and Reach New Limits. The hope was to provide content that would help individuals find a desire to live a life embodied by the giving of one's best efforts in all circumstances.
If everyone were choosing to give their best, what would that look like? Would our relationships, families, careers, and values change? Would people be more considerate to others? Would the products available improve? How would the world look full of “best-givers”?
In 2020, Stephen founded Outdo Life LLC because wanted to do more than just have a book available to help people. He wanted to provide positive reinforcement through what he called the Be Best Movement. This is a movement where every individual involved chooses to be a “best-giver” meaning they are dedicated to giving their best in every effort and circumstance and bringing out the best in those around them.
Utilizing his serendipitous life, Stephen provides meaningful and inspirational content in a succinct and engaging manner. The hope is to inspire others to take hold of the Be Best Movement and to multiply it’s scope of influence through the edification of leaders.
